Cooperation and exchange between Argentina and the Czech Republic, March 2011

At the meeting, Petr Suchon, Vitkovice chief representative for South America, stated that the Czech
group business in the region is focused on this country, whose model in CNG subject should
be implemented in the EU. “The CNG market in Argentina is an example for Europe”, he said.
The executive participated in the meeting for the holding presentation, which counted with
the presence of the president of the administration board and CEO, Jan Svetlík, who was pleased
with the growth that Cidegas, an Argentinean company which belongs to the holding, has experienced.

The business forum took place on Tuesday, 31st March in Four Seasons Hotel, Buenos Aires, and it was inaugurated by The Czech Republic president, Václav Klaus, in his official visit to Argentina with a delegation of important companies from his country.
Cidegas, a company oriented to the manufacture of high-pressure gas cylinders, was represented by its president, Alberto Batic, and Rubén Olazar, a member of the company which has an industrial plant in Olavarría, Buenos Aires. “In addition to the on board cylinders, we are also commercializing others specially designed for the public transportation and heavy vehicles. In our country they are still working as prototypes, whereas in Peru and Bolivia they are already being used. No doubt, the challenge is a short-term massive conversion plan for heavy transportation in our country”, states Batic in a conversation with NGV Journal, CNG worldwide online newspaper.

CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE at the Expo NGV in Peru, September 2009

The exposition was held at the Jockey Club Plaza in Lima, Peru, the most active NGV market in the South American continent, from the 24th to the 26th of September 2009 with 60 exhibitors and about 3000 visitors not only from Peru but other markets as well. The VITKOVICE holding partner companies launched the full range of products to the market, inclusive of high pressure NGV cylinders and also introduced the NGVS (Natural Gas for Vehicles Self Compressed) product, on the stand A11. The new product is a filling station for domestic use and mini fleets applications.

CIDEGAS at GNV Peru, July 2009

The exhibition was held in the María Angola Convention Center, Lima, the 9th, 10th and 11th of July 2009. The event was organized in a strategic country; Peru is one of the countries with the biggest development in terms of NGV and alternative fuels in South America. CIDEGAS introduced its range of products on the stand n°52 along with about 40 other exhibiting companies. The products included NGV cylinders and the new NGVS (Natural Gas for Vehicles Self Compressed) compressor, which is a filling station that is ideal for domestic use and mini fleet applications.

CIDEGAS at Expo GNV Colombia, 2009

The exposition was held at the Plaza Mayor de Medellin, Colombia from the 10th to the 12th of June 2009. CIDEGAS exhibited its products with more than 50 other companies from the NGV industry. Besides the presentation of its habitual range of products (NGV cylinders), the company introduced to the Colombian market its new NGVS (Natural Gas for Vehicles Self Compressed), which is a compressor for domestic use and mini fleets applications.

 

 

CIDEGAS at Expo GNV Peru, July 2008

The exposition was held at the Jockey Club Plaza in Lima, Peru, from the 3rd to the 6th of July 2008 along with more than 100 exhibitors; bearing in mind that Peru is provided with one of the biggest reserves of natural gas in South America. CIDEGAS offered the Peruvian market its products on the stands n°39 y n°48. In total, 15 000 people came during the 3 day exhibition. At this exposition, the company exposed to the Peruvian market its habitual range of products composed of NGV cylinders, and also introduced its new NGVS (Natural Gas for Vehicles Self Compressed) product which is a natural gas filling station for domestic use and mini fleets applications.

 

 

CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE at NGV Italy, 2008

The exhibition was held in the city of Turin from the 25th to the 27th of September 2008. This European city was chosen for its big influence in the NGV market. CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE participated at this event as exhibitors on the stand G3 along with more than 80 companies of the industry. At this exhibition, CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE presented their high pressure NGV cylinders to the Italian market.

 

CIDEGAS at NGV Brazil, 2008

The exposition was held in the city of Rio de Janeiro from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2008 with more than 70 other exhibitors, with the aim to provide the NGV industry with an international NGV exhibition. CIDEGAS launched its full range of products, composed of NGV cylinders, on the stand E14 with its representative HIFA.

 

CIDEGAS at GNV Colombia, 2007

The exposition was held at the Corferias installations in the city of Bogota, Colombia from the 27th to the 29th of June 2007 with about 70 other exhibitors with the aim of examining the progress of the NGV industry and future perspectives for the use of NGV in Colombia as well as worldwide. CIDEGAS exhibited its range of products, NGV cylinders, on the stand n°17 through its client CEF.

 

CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE at Fuelling Pakistan, 2007

The exposition was held in the city of Karachi, Pakistan from the 16th to the 18th of February 2007. CIDEGAS/VITKOVICE participated to this event as exhibitors with about 80 other foreign companies in relation to the use of NGV and alternative fuels, at Fuelling Pakistan. The intention of participating by the side of VITKOVICE CYLINDERS A.S, was to obtain a feedback from the same market about variables of our interest, as well as the evaluation of the respective certification process of our range of products with relevant authorities.
