Installation Suggestions

Dear user,
Kindly verify that CIDEGAS S.A. cylinder is installed in your vehicle considering:

1) That the support that will fix it to the vehicle, is properly designed and homologated in compliance with the effective standard in your country.

2) That the holding bolts from the cylinder to the vehicle, are minimum 10 mm of diameter, 8.8 quality and they do not affect the vehicle structure.

3) That the cylinder will not be able to being in contact with any other metal held to the vehicle, therefore the bands that hold it must have 32 mm wide, by 3 mm of thickness minimum, and one cover that impede the contact between metals.
Over the support fixed to the vehicle, the cylinder will have to support on this by means of a rubber that does not allow the humidity accumulation.

4) When the cylinders were to be installed underneath the vehicle, has to be in compliance with local regulation, verifying it is protected against possible stone blows or the own ground.

5) All cylinder installed in the trunk or the internal compartment of the vehicle, will be Obligatory the venting system installation that enables that in occasion of a possible Gas loss, this one passes to the vehicle compartment.
Therefore, the joint valve and cylinder must have a bag or watertight camera connected each side by means of a venting tube to the outside of the vehicle,  enabling an airflow to circulate whenever it ventilates the connections between the valve and the cylinder, and the connections between the valve and the high pressure pipe.
